Prism Inks is an innovator in developing
state of the art inks for many different applications and
markets.
To ensure the highest reliability of its ink,
Prism uses sub-micron filtration processes for all its ink
manufacturing. In addition, Prism uses encapsulated pigments that
are around 100 nm in size. Prism chemists have developed custom
pigments to enhance color gamut and outdoor durability.
All of the aqueous dyes go through a reverse
filtration procedure to make them suitable for inkjet and filtration
of our dye based inks is fine enough to even remove
bacteria!
Prism has an extensive database listing
the physical and chemical properties on hundreds of pigments,
dyes, additives, and base solvents. Using this information, our
scientists meet the requirements such as shelf life, stability;
color gamut and outdoor durability of the inks developed our printer
and print head manufacturing partners and for the after market ink
sets and
has helped them develop technically advanced inks such as our
"HAPS-free" solvent ink, our "direct to fabric" ink and our
"water-based to vinyl" ink, just to name a
few.

solution company, Prism’s Engineers have now also developed reliable
bulk inks system for its customers.
